Terms & Conditions

All tours are operated as a private hire of the entire vehicle for your group of up to six (6) travellers, charged at a flat rate per vehicle regardless of group size.

A booking is confirmed once a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price has been paid online and you have received a confirmation email with a booking reference. The remaining 70% balance is payable on the day of the tour, in cash (EUR) or by card, directly to your driver-guide.

All prices are set and charged in euros (EUR). Any prices shown in other currencies are indicative conversions for your convenience only; the amount actually charged will be in euros, and your bank’s exchange rate and fees may apply.

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following applies:

• More than 7 days before the tour: full refund of any amount paid, including the deposit.
• 3 to 7 days before the tour: the 30% deposit is retained; any additional amount paid is refunded in full.
• Less than 48 hours before the tour, or no-show: no refund. The full tour price may be charged.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. To cancel, contact us by email or WhatsApp quoting your booking reference.

We will always try to accommodate a change of date. Rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the tour are free of charge, subject to availability. Requests made within 48 hours are treated as a cancellation under Section 2.

We reserve the right to adjust itineraries, the order of stops, or pickup times where necessary for safety, traffic, weather, site closures or other operational reasons, without reducing the overall experience where reasonably possible.

In the rare event that we must cancel a tour (for example due to vehicle failure, driver illness, strikes, or unsafe weather conditions), you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund, including the deposit. Our liability in such cases is limited to the amount you have paid for the tour.

Tours generally operate in light rain. We do not cancel for ordinary weather, and refunds are not given for weather you consider unfavourable if the tour is able to run safely.

Please be ready at your confirmed pickup location at the agreed time. We allow a courtesy wait of 15 minutes. If you cannot be located or contacted after this time, the tour will be treated as a no-show with no refund. Significant late starts caused by the traveller may shorten the tour, as we cannot always extend the agreed return time.

The maximum capacity is six (6) passengers per vehicle. All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times. Please tell us in advance if you require child seats, which we provide free of charge subject to notice, along with the ages of any children, so we can comply with Portuguese road-safety law.

Our driver-guides may refuse to carry, or may remove, any passenger whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs to a degree that endangers others, without refund.

Unless your booking explicitly states otherwise, the price includes private transport, fuel, tolls, and an English-speaking driver-guide. It does not include monument and palace entrance tickets, food and drink, gratuities, or personal expenses, which are payable by you directly.

Our vehicles carry the insurance required by Portuguese law. We are not liable for loss, damage, injury, delay or additional expense arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, third-party site closures, acts of government, or force majeure.

You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times. We strongly recommend that all travellers hold their own valid travel and medical insurance. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We collect only the information needed to operate your booking (such as name, contact details and pickup address) and process it in line with applicable data-protection law. Card payments are handled securely by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details on our systems.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
